Required documents checklist
  • Trade registry and tax number
  • MoH private health facility application for physiotherapy
  • Architectural drawings per MoH facility regulation
  • Professional licences (denklik / diploma recognition for foreigners)
  • Lease, fire safety, and municipal occupancy
  • Staff contracts and SGK registrations
Facility & equipment requirements
  • MoH facility class and the trade-registry activity code must match; a generic office company cannot treat.
Staff licensing
  • Foreign PTs need diploma equivalency (denklik) and MoH work permission before they can be named on the facility.
Licensing steps — in order
1

Company + tax → MoH drawings → professional licences → fit-out inspection → facility licence

Important tip

Start denklik for a foreign director immediately — it is usually longer than the building licence.

Guidance only — not a licence. Confirm fees, area minima, and portal names with the official regulator before you apply or spend on fit-out.
