Official & Useful Links
Required documents checklist
  • Commercial licence / company papers with the health activity
  • Municipality and Civil Defence approvals for the unit
  • MOH application for a private physiotherapy facility
  • Technical supervisor licence and staff licences
  • Lease matching the licensed address
  • Equipment list and internal policies
Facility & equipment requirements
  • Kuwait MOH inspects privacy of treatment spaces and equipment safety before the facility licence is issued.
Staff licensing
  • Physiotherapists need MOH professional licences; Gulf DataFlow is commonly requested for non-Kuwaiti staff.
Licensing steps — in order
1

Issue the commercial licence, then municipality and Civil Defence

2

Submit the MOH facility file with drawings and the named supervisor

3

Inspection, close remarks, collect the facility licence

Important tip

The commercial activity code must say physiotherapy/rehabilitation. A generic “office” licence will be rejected at MOH.

Guidance only — not a licence. Confirm fees, area minima, and portal names with the official regulator before you apply or spend on fit-out.
